Less than a year after ITDistribution being appointed as HP's Value Added Distributor, ITDistribution has been named Significant Contributor of Year 2006 due to major contribution of sales in public & telecommunication sectors. Award was presented to Mr Shahrul Zaman, Executive Director of ITDistribution by Mr K.T. Ong in HP Partners' Gala Night at KL Hilton recently.

Tenaga Nasional Berhad awarded Remote Meter Project to Impianas

Congratulations to our partner Impianas Sdn Bhd, which was awarded by Tenaga Nasional Berhad for Remote Meter Project recently. Tenaga Nasional Berhad is currently using Impianas Wavenet solutions for the remote meter reading of its Large Power Consumers and in the remote monitoring of its substations equipment in the SCADA implementation. To date, Wavenet is operational in the central and southern regions of Peninsular Malaysia.

Impianas Sdn Bhd business mission is to undertake the provision and delivery of wireless data services in Malaysia. The company was awarded a 10-year license by the former Ministry of Energy, Telecommunication and Posts (now known as Ministry of Energy, Water and Communications) to install, operate and manage a wireless data network in the country.

HP has completed its acquisition of Mercury Interactive Corp., the largest software acquisition in HP’s history. The deal integrates Mercury's leading application management and delivery and IT governance capabilities with HP OpenView's broad portfolio of management solutions to create a new HP Software organization that will lead the industry in business technology optimization (BTO).

ITDistribution: Moving Towards HP Technology Update for TM Datacenter

First technology update for year 2007 has been conducted at Cititel Hotel, Midvalley on 17 January 2007. The technology updates covers HP c-Class Blade server, HP Integrity Servers, HP Openview Solutions & HP Storageworks. Around 30 participants from TMNet Sdn Bhd from various data center around Malaysia attended the technology update.
